1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using NTranslator ("Service", "App", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

NTranslator is a web-based translation service that provides:

• Text Translation: Automated translation of stories and chapters using Baidu and Bing APIs
• Custom Dictionaries: User-defined terminology and character name management
• Text-to-Speech (TTS): Audio generation from translated text
• Export Functions: Ability to export translated content
• Cloud Storage: Integration with Google Drive for data persistence
• Tier-based Access: Multiple subscription levels with different feature limits

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use NTranslator, you must:

• Provide a valid email address
• Create a secure password
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate

4. Subscription Tiers and Pricing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• All fees are in Vietnamese Dong (VND) unless otherwise stated
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• No refunds for partial months or unused quota
• You may cancel your subscription at any time

5. Usage Limits and Fair Use

5.1 Quota Tracking

We track the following usage metrics:

• Daily and monthly translation counts
• TTS generation requests
• Story uploads and exports
• Dictionary lookups (for advanced features)

5.2 Fair Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Abuse or circumvent usage limits
• Share account credentials with others
• Use automated scripts to exceed quotas
• Resell or redistribute translation services
• Use the service for illegal or harmful purposes

6. Google Drive Integration

6.1 Authorization

When you connect Google Drive:

• You grant NTranslator permission to create a "NTranslator" folder in your Drive
• We can only access files created by our application
• We cannot access your other Google Drive files
• You can revoke access at any time via Google Account settings

6.2 Data Storage

• Your translation data is stored in YOUR Google Drive, not our servers
• Files are encrypted before storage (.enc format)
• You retain full ownership of your data
• Google Drive storage counts toward your Google storage quota

6.3 Service Interruption

If Google Drive is unavailable or you revoke access, some features may not function properly. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

• You retain all rights to the content you upload
• You grant us a license to process your content solely to provide the service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to translate uploaded content
• We do not claim ownership of your translations or derivatives

7.2 Our Service

• NTranslator name, logo, and interface are our intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our service
• Our source code and algorithms are proprietary

8. Copyright and Content Compliance

8.1 User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have legal rights to translate content you upload
• Complying with copyright laws in your jurisdiction
• Not uploading pirated, illegal, or infringing content
• Respecting intellectual property rights of original authors

8.2 Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains illegal material (child exploitation, violence, etc.)
• Violates privacy or defamation laws
• Contains malware or malicious code
• Promotes hate speech or discrimination

8.3 DMCA Compliance

If you believe content on our service infringes your copyright, contact us with details. We will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or terminating user accounts.

9. Third-Party Services

NTranslator uses third-party APIs and services:

9.1 Translation APIs

• Baidu Translate: Your text is sent to Baidu servers for translation
• Bing Translator: Alternative translation provider
• These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for third-party service availability or accuracy

9.2 Google Services

• Google Drive API for storage
• Google OAuth for authentication
• Subject to Google's Terms of Service

10. Service Availability

10.1 Uptime

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Specific uptime percentages
• Availability during maintenance windows
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers

10.2 Maintenance

We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice. Service may be temporarily unavailable during updates.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant:

• Translation Accuracy: Automated translations may contain errors
• Data Integrity: Always backup important data
• Service Continuity: We may discontinue the service at any time
• Third-Party Services: External APIs may fail or change
• Fitness for Purpose: Service may not meet your specific needs

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for data loss (backup your Google Drive data)
• We are not liable for third-party service failures
• You use the service at your own risk

13. Account Termination

13.1 By You

• You may delete your account at any time
• Cancel subscription to avoid future charges
• Your Google Drive data remains under your control
• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Upload prohibited or illegal content
• Abuse the service or exceed fair use
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees

14. Modifications to Service and Terms

14.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue features
• Change pricing with 30 days notice
• Update tier limits and quotas
• Add or remove third-party integrations

14.2 Terms Updates

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Vietnam. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
